The throttle body is a fundamental mechanical or electromechanical component of the controlled ignition internal combustion engine, located in the fuel system and which is responsible for regulating the flow of air to be introduced into the carburetor or, in injection engines, directly into the combustion chamber, and thus to regulate the number of revolutions per minute of the engine.
